Intercultural playing and learning is a way to discover a new culture. At least two cultures participate in this process of realising differences and approaching one another. Space to develop something new and mutual tolerance play a vital part in this process.
While playing, children can experience a foreign culture. The roles they play out in their imagination live on and open the girls and boys up to the diversity of life in the world.
This workshop will constantly switch between practical experience and theoretical discussions. We will play games from various cultures and (shortly) reflect on them. This reflection will serve to challenge our behaviour patterns and to be curious for new cultures (not more).
